Emerging Port Powerhouse in the Middle East: SGP Container Terminal Surpasses 15 Million TEUs, Closest to Regional Leaders

　　Since its operation began in 2015, SGP Container Terminals, a subsidiary of Saudi Global Ports Group, has handled more than 15 million TEUs at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.

　　This milestone was achieved through close collaboration with the Saudi Ports Authority, Zaat, the General Tax and Customs Authority, Global Shipping Company and a variety of long-term partners.

　　SGP operates the largest container terminal at King Abdulaziz Dammam Port on Saudi Arabia's eastern coast, serving as a pivotal link between the country's industrial sector and global markets. Backed by PSA International's global expertise in container terminal operations, SGP's throughput has maintained year-on-year growth, reaching a peak of 3.2 million TEUs by 2024.

　　Shortly after the successful acquisition and integration of the East Coast multi-purpose terminal in July 2025, this achievement further solidified SGP's long-term growth trajectory.
